bro I was waited for this game until i forgot it existed. could never get my hands on a Korean ssn or whatever to play back in the day. it's now 2024 and I never knew it got revived in 2015. If it's still up, I have to give it a shot lol

How can anyone honestly say the combat is good. Maybe the character attacks and skills are cool, but the AI is such garbage. 40 of the same mob type running at you in lockstep, not even raising a weapon. They all move and get stunned together. It's just dumb.

arhage 2 action pacled arcade combat is not a mmo dum magot ..it is an action iopen world rpg ..mmorpg focus on strategy and skills ..while arcade u dodge 4 minutes to hit one time jist like counter strike with sword ...

I think one of the reasons many f2p mmos appear so lifeless is because f2p players aren't seen as a valuable resource. Rather, they're seen as a potential source of a valuable resource. Players are the real lifeblood of a game, not money. After all, who actually wants to invest into a [dying] mmo?... Having lots of people play isn't just good in the context of Micro-transactions and making money... But most people behind mmos don't seem to get that. 🤷

whats crazy about the crew skill is way back in launch there was a quest to get them back whne for example maruafer and jugg were advanced classes you got on the fleet

Not actually factual but about some opinions of what might be the usual person might do at a game. Some people of about 5% of the country is gamers but less is for mmorpgs. Some people would just go for a old game that did very nicely. Runescape is not great. It could be much better. Mmorpgs don't do nicely. Games do much better on older systems. Like Nintendo or Playstation. Their better made. I dislike all mmorpgs.

This really brought me back. I was 14 when the game was still around and struggled my ass off to get the Korean version. I could only find like a partial translation dunno why but the game was sooooo good. I still remember someone I met online called shineheaven21 who really helped me navigate the game, learn flying and even super saiyan cause you know majority of the game was in Korean (If you’re reading this bro, thanks so much. You probably don’t remember me but I wouldn’t have all the fun memories with it if you hadn’t showed me around). For those of you who’re still reading, this game is the origins of xenoverse and where most of the villains and cast originated. And as far as I remember, there’s a cool ass plot line where goku and vegeta have one final battle when they get old on another planet and the shockwaves are felt years later.

About mount speed, there is a hidden easy way to upgrade it very early on. It was mentioned in the vid about doing battlegrounds, but you don't need to pvp. On lvl 10 I believe , If you do the pvp tutorial, which takes only 10 minutes and involves no pvp at all, you get the new Assault skill line and the first passive there gives you the permanent 30% mount speed right away.

I see everyone has the same sentiment; That the last 10 years has been ZERO viable MMORPGs. Not a single one that has stayed online or not P2W. The genre is dead for sure. WoW,GW2, FF and maybe 2 others is it.. and they’re all 10y+

Ashes of Creation gives me MAJOR Warhammer Online vibes. Amazing community engagement prior to release, tons of hype, looks solid and has A LOT of ambitious ideas... much like Age of Conan as well. Which to me, means its most likely going to fail, so I will keep my expectations very low so as to not get burnt again. Like I did with Warhammer Online, and Age of Conan Online, and Wildstar, and Rift, and Everquest Next, and Guild Wars 2, and New World... I've learned my lesson now.

I don't know if it's a thing in your country, but I started playing Tarisland on it's release day th 21th of June and I have for the first time the same feeling as when I started my first time WoW back in 2003. Half way through the year and Chrono Odyssey is yet to properly showcase the gameplay other than some bits and pieces, I highly doubt it will be released this year..Late next year most probably.
